waste man
here’s a pic of the mighty waste man. seems a long time gone, but what a character he was. where is he now? has he returned to the landfill from whence he came, or is he spreading the sustainability message far and wide. i saw a poster today saying that the recycling in bristol was now 70% (may have just been food and garden waste), so perhaps he’s visited many more people since the film was completed.
…and Wasteman is born!
You are probably wondering what or who Wasteman is? Well, Wasteman is a person. I am waste man. I’m Dave from the CoB group and I’m not an actor or anything but I am still acting the part of wasteman in our film. Maybe our film maker will put some pictures up for your benefit. Anyways must be off, looking forward to seeing all of your work.

Tried putting this up once before but it doesn’t seem to have worked!
Script is final!
We have kinda finished our script…. and finished it again… and again… but hopefully we won’t change it again. It’s now less than a week till we start filming, and we need to find some costumes! We have ideas and shots, so that should see us through half term!
We are on our way. . .
We finally got the vox pops research we did last weekend onto the laptop. We are currently playing with our bits of footage, trying out different fades and other effects. A sort of plan is coming along, but it has a long way to go yet.
We currently have almost three A1 pages of ideas, but that will have to be cut down for the final film! (Some are good. Really, they are! Honest!) The script’s starting to take shape, it needs more work, but it’s getting there.
By the way turn of your T.V. and lights, and turn your thermostat down!

The Think or Swim crew from City of Bristol College (henceforth CBC), get tangled up during a visit from Gaynor Lewis (Centre for Sustainable Energy). Apologies for poor visual quality – it was shot with a Nokia N70, and got worse when i followed youtubes’ recommended video conversion advice.
